Lamp Holders Burning / Melting?

I purchased a bunch of eXXtreme twister bulbs from ATS-

The bulbs, one by one are burning / melting my lampholders on one end of the buld ( 1 pin of the 2 ) ?

this is only happening with those lamps.. I have 6 beds... and this has happened to 8 bulbs / lamp holders now...

any ideas?

Re: Lamp Holders Burning / Melting?

What wattage are they? My first thought is 100 watt in a 160 watt setup.

Re: Lamp Holders Burning / Melting?

I still don't think that would cause melting. These lamps are a nightmare me thinks.
